8月27日凌晨，苹果发出邀请函，宣布将在北京时间9月10日凌晨1时举行特别活动，主题为“高光时刻”。
外界预期，苹果将在此次活动上发布iPhone 16系列、AIrPods 4以及新一代的Apple Watch系列，此外iOS 18和macOS Sequoia也将正式发布。
根据此前外媒的猜测，iPhone 16系列将配备自定义操作按钮以及全新的拍摄按钮，内置手势功能。
因为有了苹果智能（Apple Intelligence）的加入，今年四款iPhone 16（标准版iPhone、Plus、Pro 和Pro Max）都将采用最新的A18芯片。两款高端的Pro系列产品显示屏尺寸有望进一步加大，从原先的6.1 英寸和6.7英寸增加到6.3英寸和6.9英寸。
至于新一代手表Apple Watch S10系列，显示屏幕会更大，Apple Watch SE和Apple Watch Ultra也有望更新，并加入新的健康功能。
